THE POWER OF WORDS

The challenge this week over at Inspiration Avenue is the "Power of Words".
I think the first word I learned was "NO" and I learned from a very early age
that "NO" was a powerful word.

Over the years the word NO......
~ made me feel
~ made me ask why
~ made me ask how
~ made me discover
~ made me inspired
~ made me competitive
~ made me strong
~ made me look beyond
~ made me who I am
~ The word "NO" made me say "Yes I CAN".

Here is my submission for this week's challenge.

Thank you for viewing my submission. Check out my ETSY shop for more new editions and be sure to pop over to Inspiration Avenue (just roll over the title of this post) to see what words inspired other artists this week! Better yet, come, join the fun and be inspired!

  6. I had to learn to say that word with feeling. Otherwise family memebers and bosses would of taken advantage of me. It is a powerful word and all women should learn to say it with feeling.

    Love the hip action!

  8. No indeed! Sometimes I say it too often to my son... but he is 6 and does want the world!! Great tag. Love the sassy angle to her hips. She's a lady that knows what she doesn't want!!

  9. I hardly ever say NO...sigh. I scream it in my head, but it doesn't come out of my mouth. I'm working on it...Totally terrific art tag...and message :)

  10. ha! I love your comment Lisa. I use to be a total matt and to this day, that word is un-natural for me. I am a true, "yes I will do it person" and then kick myself later. But when I feel "NO" and I can manage to shut that "yes" girl up inside, it really feels GOOD to say what you mean! The yes girl? I still have problems with her, she is such a push over! :)
Thanks for all the lovely comments, you guys are awesome!
